The firm is well-established with a relatively flat structure and uncomplicated but efficient business model. Current team dynamics have created an opportunity for an accomplished Team Leader/Manager with proven people and client management skills to join the firm in a key leadership role.
We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified managerial professional with a minimum of 5-6 years current NZ CA experience in business services.
The role has a dual focus on team and client management and a wide range of responsibilities associated with these two areas, including budgeting, workflow and client relationship management.
The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge of all aspects of client accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, management accounts, tax returns, budgeting and forecasting, reviewing and project management.
This opportunity will suit a self-driven professional with strong technical competencies and exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience with managing and developing mid-size BAS teams is essential for this role. Good working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Excel as well as other similar pakcages and programs is essential for this role.
