We have a new opportunity for a well-rounded tertiary qualified business services accountant with 1-3 years current experience in the field.
The role has strong client focus, and the successful candidate will gradually take full responsibility for a portfolio of key clients and the workflow associated with it.
You will work directly with a range of entities across all industries and be exposed to a broad spectrum of client assignments.
Here are some of the key points our client has highlighted in the brief for this role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Sound experience with Xero, MYOB AO and Banklink
- Good grounding in financial accounting, monthly management reporting and tax compliance
- Previous experience with sizeable and complex investment portfolios
- Ability to work well as part of a team and tackle ad hoc tasks and projects
Our brief for this role is somewhat broad. Effectively, we are looking for an intermediate to early senior accountant with current NZ CA experience in business services.
We are interested in hearing from two groups of potentially suitable candidates for this role:
- Tertiary qualified Intermediate Business Services Accountants with 1-3 years current NZ CA experience and studying toward a full CA/or CPA designation, or
- Recently CA/CPA qualified strong intermediate to early senior accountants with 3-4 years current NZ CA experience
