The opportunity
Sustained growth and newly identified opportunities for further growth have created the need for an articulate, self-driven individual to join one of the Business Services teams in the practice.
The role will suit a focused individual with a positive can-do attitude and a good ability to work independently. Due to the nature and size of your clients, you will not be lacking opportunities to learn new things and stretch further your technical competencies.
The role has strong client focus and requires good technical grounding in financial accounting, management reporting and tax compliance.
You will work across various technical areas, including statutory and management reporting, NZ IFRS reporting, tax compliance and business advisory.
Your client base will consist of trusts, sole-traders, investment funds, companies and complex group structures operating across a range of industries including manufacturing, construction, technology, property, investment and professional services to name a few.
Our client's requirements
We are looking for a tertiary qualified accountant, studying towards full CA, ACCA or CPA qualifications. At the upper end of the range for this role, you may even be a recently qualified accounting professional.
Experience in a larger CA firm is essential. Excellent client-facing skills and desire and potential to develop further within a fast-paced team environment are key requirements.
