We are looking for an articulate business services professional with a minimum of 3-4 years current or recent NZ CA experience in the field. This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to take ownership and responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients.
Therefore, your good grounding in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance and business advisory and impeccable communication and client-facing skills will be crucial for your success in this role.
Some of the key items on our client’s job brief include but are not limited to:
- preparation of year-end financial statements
- periodic tax compliance (tax returns, including GST, PAYE, Income Tax etc.)
- monthly management reporting
- business planning, forecasting, due diligence
- special purpose reporting
- acting as a first point of contact advisory to a wide range of clients (on a range of accounting, tax and systems issues)
- liaising with Inland Revenue, Lawyers, Banks and other third parties on behalf of your clients
- various ad hoc high-end compliance and value-add projects
Naturally at this level, you will be CA or CPA qualified, although our client is prepared to consider candidates in the final stages of their professional CA or CPA studies.
