Our client is a well-established professional services firm with long history in a niche segment of the accounting, tax advisory and business services arena. The firm has an impressive client list consisting of sizeable and complex businesses. The firm is widely recognised for their leading technical expertise in several areas.
Sustained growth and internal team dynamics have created the opportunity for a competent client manager to join this close-knit team of top-notch professionals. The role offers broad scope and high level of technical complexity and will suit a hands-on professional who is happy to do a little bit of everything. In addition to the usual preparation of financial statements and tax returns, your focus will be on advising clients on a wide range of accounting, tax and business issues.
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) with:
- a minimum of 5-6 years current or recent NZ CA experience
- sound hands-on experience with preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
- proven client-facing experience
- excellent time management skills
- strong workflow management skills
- proven ability to manage projects with conflicting priorities
- proven track record as a team player
- ability to work unsupervised
- outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- sound, up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand tax
