Our client is a top-tier professional services firm. The firm has a long history in New Zealand and increasing global presence and is seen by many as one of the strongest employer brands in the CA sector.
Due to current team dynamics, the opportunity has arisen for an accomplished manager with sound experience in the business advisory service area to join our client’s Queenstown office.
This is a varied role that requires the talents of an articulate managerial professional with sound technical skills in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance and management consulting. NZ IFRS experience and previous exposure to value-add projects involving financial modelling, business valuations and mergers and acquisitions is essential for this key role.
You will be responsible for managing the relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the smooth performance of the team.
The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 6 years business advisory experience in a CA environment (Big 4/mid-tier experience is preferred). Naturally, at this level, you will hold full CA or CPA qualifications and at least 3-4 years post qualification experience (in a CA environment).
Your good understanding of the current commercial environment, proven people and client servicing competencies, and analytical skills combined with good leadership potential will be key for your success in this role.
