About the role

Due to current team dynamics and sustained growth, the opportunity has arisen for an accomplished business advisory assistant manager or manager to join the firm in a key role in their Auckland City office. The role offers broad work scope and exposure to some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients.

Here are some of the key aspects that define this role:

  • year-end financial reporting for key clients
  • management reporting for some of the firm’s larger clients
  • tax compliance and advisory
  • NZ IFRS reporting
  • reviewing of work files
  • team management, mentoring and guiding professional staff
  • cashflow forecasting, budgeting
  • running a business planning session with a group of key clients
  • various other ad hoc projects and tasks

 

About you

We are looking for an assistant manager or a manager currently working in a sizeable CA firm. While sound grounding in compliance is essential, we are looking for a professional with proven team reviewing/management experience.

Your ability to build and manage meaningful long-term working relationships with key clients will be essential in this role. NZ IFRS reporting experience in a CA environment is equally important. We are looking for an articulate professional with proven client-facing experience.
