About the role
This is a client-facing role, which will provide the successful candidate with variety and exposure to a broad spectrum of compliance and advisory projects.
You will work with SME businesses operating across a broad spectrum of industries. The typical annual turnover of your clients will range from $5 million to $100 million. In this role you will be given early portfolio management responsibilities and unlimited potential to take on new responsibilities and advance your career at your own pace.
Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- preparation of annual financial statements
- preparation of tax returns and various other IRD periodic forms and reports
- working on engagements involving various accounting and tax issues affecting clients
- participating in budgeting and forecasting and tax structuring projects
- assisting with various value-add assignments, involving due diligence, financial modelling, business valuations and other projects..
About the successful candidate
We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified senior accountant with current NZ CA experience in the field.
This opportunity will suit a Big 4 or mid-tier professional looking for a broader scope and exposure to new clients and industries. You will find better flexibility and management support here as well. Candidates working in smaller mid-sized firms with exposure to larger and complex clients are encouraged to apply for this role as well.
