We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified professional with a minimum of 5-6 years current NZ CA experience in the field. Strong people management competencies and well-rounded technical skills and experience are essential for this role.
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive team management experience and ability to prioritise, organise and ensure all team members meet targets and deadlines.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities highlighted in our client's brief include:
- team management, reviewing and training
- preparation of year-end financial statements
- monthly reporting
- budgeting, forecasting and Cashflow analyses
- managing team workflows
- providing clients with systems advice/trouble shooting
- dealing with various third parties, including IRD, banks and lawyers
- assisting partners with high-end advisory projects for some of the largest clients
- various ad hoc tasks and responsibilities...
This role will suit a technically well-rounded managerial professional who thrives in a team management role with strong technical and client/workflow management focus.
Working as part of a high-performing team of commercially savvy professionals with a wealth of experience in compliance and business advisory, you will be exposed to a variety of projects. You will work with both domestic and overseas clients and complex group structures with multi-million-dollar annual turnover.
Good working knowledge of MYOB (AO and/or AE) and Xero would also be considered a plus. Outstanding communication and client presentation skills are essential.
